General information

One of the functions of DCCG is to increase knowledge and collaboration on the topic of colorectal cancer. One way to achieve this is by spreading information through the DCCG website. Therefore a request can be submitted via the DCCG (see e-mail at bottom of page or in right upper corner) to post information on the website. Below are the available information categories. The general requirement is that the information needs to regard colorectal cancer and that there is sufficient relevance to readers in the Netherlands (as judged by website coordinator or DCCG board if needed). The information needs to be submitted in a certain format in which it will be placed on the website. The information can be in Dutch, English or both (then English below). Consider copy rights and use your own words.

If you are PhD student in the Netherlands and the topic of a dissertation regards mainly colorectal cancer you can bring attention to your upcoming PhD defense by submitting the information below. The text will be published in the newsfeed of the DCCG website.

More information under „read more“ link: text in the format of a press release (persbericht). Please include the following in an introductory paragraph: name of PhD student, title of dissertation, name of university, promotor, copromotors, location, time and link for online streaming. Describe the content of the dissertation in a paragraph below the introduction paragraph. This can include general description, names of chapters, links to papers (pubmed or directly to journals; using hyperlinks) that have been published or the PDF of the dissertation. Attention can be brought to the main findings and the relevance thereof.

If you want to bring attention to something that regards colorectal cancer you can submit a request for that by supplying the information below. This includes the following:

1. Interview on websites or in journals
2. Press release elsewhere, e.g. on developments, etc.
3. Large grants that have been given to CRC research projects
4. Other.
